Hundred Summers
Hundred Summers

Stop budgeting month to month.
Start managing a lifetime.

Most of us are taught to think about money one payslip at a time. Hundred Summers teaches you to see the whole picture — your income, pensions, property and savings across your entire life — and to test the decisions that shape it. Using your own numbers. In plain English.

🔒 Your financial data never leaves your device. We couldn't read it if we wanted to.

This isn't a budgeting app. It's a mindset shift.

Budgeting asks: can I afford this month? Lifetime asset management asks a bigger question: am I building the life I want? The difference changes everything about how you see your money.

Monthly thinking
Income minus outgoings.
Will the balance last until payday?
Pensions are someone else's problem.
Big decisions made on gut feel.
Lifetime thinking
Assets, income and plans across decades.
Will my money outlast me?
Pensions, property and savings — one picture.
Big decisions tested before they're made.

Your numbers. Your decisions. Your confidence.

🔐
Your data never leaves your device
No bank logins, and no server holding your financial life: what you enter stays on your device. Back up when you choose, to a file protected with AES-256 encryption — automatic with your account, or with a passphrase only you know if you set one.
⚖️
UK rules, done properly
Income tax (including Scottish rates), NI, CGT, pension allowances and salary sacrifice. Inheritance Tax with gifts and the 7-year taper. Your NI record drives your State Pension, with deferral at +5.8% per year. Every assumption is published — and yours to change.

About us

Hundred Summers exists to democratise financial education. Our mission is to help people understand their own financial future, so the decisions that shape it are informed ones. That doesn't compete with financial advice — it complements it. An informed client asks sharper questions, understands the answers, and gets far more value from every conversation with an adviser.

The UK faces a quiet financial crisis: whole generations with little idea what their financial future holds. For some, seeing it clearly means re-thinking affordability — and the earlier that's known, the better. But for many, the lifetime view brings good news: looked at across all your assets, not just this month's payslip, you can afford the future and achieve your goals.

Plain English, not jargon
Every assumption published
UK tax & pension rules built in
Walk into advice better informed
🔑
Your data. Your future. Your control.
It's your data and your future, so you should be the one holding the controls. Alter any number, run your own what-if analysis, and see the consequences for yourself.
🛠️
Powerful tools, open doors
Lifetime financial modelling shouldn't be locked behind closed doors. We put professional-grade calculation tools directly in your hands.
📈
Lifetime assets, not monthly budgets
Only by looking at your lifetime assets — pensions, property, savings — and how to release them effectively can you see what's truly possible.
🔒

Private by architecture, not by promise.

Your salary, pensions and net worth are stored only on your own device — they are never uploaded, so there's no server for them to leak from. Our systems hold just your email and subscription status. Backups are files you keep, protected with AES-256 encryption — automatically with a key tied to your account, or with a passphrase only you know if you set one. That's not a privacy policy; it's how Hundred Summers is built.

The one exception is yours to choose: when you ask the AI Copilot a question, the plan summary needed to answer it is processed securely and is not used to train AI models. Never use it, and nothing ever leaves your device. Visits are counted with cookie-free, aggregate analytics (no advertising trackers), and the app records anonymous, navigation-only usage events — never your figures.

Common questions

Is Hundred Summers regulated financial advice?

No. Hundred Summers is an educational tool: it helps you understand your own finances using figures and assumptions you provide, and it never recommends products or courses of action. Projections are illustrations, not predictions. For advice tailored to your circumstances, speak to an FCA-regulated financial adviser; free impartial guidance is available from MoneyHelper.

Where is my financial data stored?

On your own device. Plan data lives in your browser and in backup files you choose; the app makes no third-party network requests with financial data. Backup files are encrypted by default (a Settings switch can turn this off); adviser sharing is always end-to-end encrypted, so the server only ever holds ciphertext it cannot read.

How much does Hundred Summers cost?

The Free tier costs nothing and covers data entry, overview, lifetime cashflow, savings, expenses and property. Premium is £4.99 a month and adds scenarios, stress testing, tax, pension income, inheritance, longevity, couples planning, risk profiling, reports and the AI Copilot. The Adviser tier is free for a two-month launch-access period, then £39 a month per adviser by arrangement.

Does Hundred Summers cover UK tax and pension rules?

Yes. Hundred Summers models UK income tax for rest-of-UK and Scottish taxpayers, National Insurance, capital gains tax, the personal-allowance taper, the High Income Child Benefit Charge, pension annual allowance with taper and carry-forward, the MPAA, tax-free cash, State Pension with triple lock, and inheritance tax including the nil-rate bands, gifts and taper. Every assumption is published on the in-app Methodology page.

What is the stress test?

A 500-path Monte Carlo simulation of your whole plan. Equity, bond and property returns are drawn from a correlated model with fat-tailed shocks, and inflation follows a persistent process that feeds spending and State Pension uprating. The model is validated in the test suite against market history from 1928 to 2023, and results are reported overall and per year, split between essential and full spending.

Can I share my plan with a financial adviser?

Yes. You can share your plan with your adviser end-to-end encrypted: it is encrypted on your device to your adviser's key, and only their device can read it. You can stop sharing at any time. Advisers can send proposed changes back, which you review as an itemised diff and explicitly accept or reject — nothing changes your plan without your action.
